Hello everyone! In this blog is about pre wedding events….
Engagement party:
These kinds of parties usually happen at least 2 weeks prior to the actual wedding date. They offer couples the opportunity to celebrate the special occasion together and spend time getting to know each other better. Many of these parties include dinner and dancing and may last anywhere between 4 hours to over a full weekend.
The reason we get engaged is to express our love, commitment and devotion to each other. This should not be confused with marriage. If we want to marry someone, then we will go through the whole engagement procedure.
Bridal shower:
Some cultures celebrate weddings with a big dinner, while others prefer small gatherings with no formalities. Regardless of what method the couple chooses, there are many traditions that surround this special day. One of these celebrations is called a bridal shower. This event is usually held before the wedding takes place, but not always. A bridal shower can be hosted at any time between two weeks and three months before the date of the wedding.
Bachelorette party:
One of the most anticipated parties for the bride-to-be, a bachelorette party is her "last hoorah" before getting married. The idea behind this party is it's an opportunity for the bride to bond with just her bridesmaids and close female friends before the wedding. The bachelorette party is a great time for everyone involved to let loose, have fun, and celebrate the bride and their friendship. Some brides have a celebratory night out close to home, while others opt for a bachelorette bash weekend getaway.
Rehearsal dinner:
Rehearsal Dinner Before Wedding - A Rehearsal Dinner Before Marriage Is An Important Step For Both Parties To Set Up A Pre-wedding Event That Will Be Fun And Create Good Memories.
Find some fun activities to do together. If you have a big group, you may want to go bowling or play pool. If you have a small group, you can find other things to do such as playing video games or just relaxing around the house.
Haldi ceremony:
Haldi is a type of Indian ceremonial ceremony that takes place prior to a marriage ceremony. It is performed in order to bless the newlywed couple. This ritualistic practice involves the use of turmeric, sandalwood paste, saffron, rose water, holy chants, sacred songs and drums.
The purpose of this unique ceremony is to invoke blessings for the future happiness of the newlyweds and their families.
Mehendi ceremony:
Mehandi is a traditional art that combines beauty and tradition with modernity. Mehendi is a beautiful design applied to your hands and feet using henna powder called mehendi.
The bride usually applies Mehndi designs to her palms and fingers as well as her toes just before she gets ready for her wedding day. Sometimes, the bride's mother may apply some of the designs onto her daughter’s palms and fingers to give them a special touch. This practice has become widespread today and many women opt for mehndi as their pre-wedding ritual.
