Hello everyone! In this blog is about types of skin…..
Dry Skin:
A person with dry skin has a naturally tight-fitting skin. Dry skin is also known as chapping skin. Chapped skin becomes rough and scaly. To treat dry skin, follow these steps:
Apply lotion regularly:
Apply lotions and creams often. Using moisturizer alone may not be enough to keep your face soft and smooth. Use creams containing emollients (oil) instead. These help to soften the skin and keep it moist.
Cleanse once daily:
Use gentle cleansers to cleanse your skin thoroughly. Choose products that do not strip your skin of its natural oils.
Moisturize twice daily:
It's best to use sunscreen to protect your skin from sun damage. A good moisturizing routine should include using a moisturizer at least twice a day. Try to avoid putting anything greasy on your face, and don't leave make-up on overnight.
Oily Skin:
Oily skin appears shiny and is prone to acne breakouts. Oily skin can look thick and clogged at times. To treat oily skin, follow these tips:
Exfoliate once weekly:
Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, leaving your skin looking fresh and radiant. If exfoliating isn't something you enjoy doing, consider purchasing an exfoliator that comes in the form of a scrub. Scrubbing your skin gently removes dead skin cells without causing irritation.
Wash your face:
Washing your face twice a day is recommended. A simple washcloth and warm water should be sufficient. Make sure to cleanse thoroughly under your eyes, around your nose and chin, and behind each ear. You can use any cleanser that you normally use, but avoid soap; soap interferes with oils on the skin, and will cause them to clog pores further. As you cleanse, gently pat your skin until it feels smooth.
Moisturize:
A moisturizing routine is absolutely necessary to help achieve beautiful and glowing skin. Use a rich moisturizer, preferably after cleansing. Look for an emollient (an ingredient that helps add moisture), rather than something that has added vitamins like vitamin E or vitamin C. These products tend to cause breakouts and clogged pores.
Normal Skin Type:
Normal skin is not at all oily or combination. Individuals who have normal skin do not produce enough oil to keep their skin moisturised. Rather, they lose moisture because their skin stays wet for extended periods of time. Most people with normal skin have less wrinkles than those with any other skin type.
Sensitive Skin Type:
Sensitive skin individuals are prone to irritation and rashes. If you have sensitive skin, avoid using scented products, perfumes, lotions, cosmetics and even soap. These items have chemicals that cause you to break out. Instead, use only natural soap or body wash, and wear non-toxic makeup. You should also learn about anti-aging methods that don't irritate sensitive skin.
Combination skin :
Combination skin refers to skin that is not oily, but does have a tendency towards dryness. Many women experience these symptoms, especially after childbirth or pregnancy. If your skin becomes drier than normal, it is referred to as combination skin. In fact, most people with combination skin have at least some degree of dryness and oiliness in their skin. However, if you have the following combination skin characteristics, then you may suffer from severe dryness and flaking.
