Skull:

Skulls were traditionally seen as symbols of death and resurrection. They are often worn with rings to signify marriage,and skulls can be worn as a protective amulet against evil spirits.

Crosses:

Crosses are believed to have originated in Egypt, and were later adopted by Christians. In many religions, crosses represent sacrifice and self-denial, whilst the Greek cross embodies fertility and prosperity.

Eye:

Eye Symbols The eye is considered the window to the soul.To wear an eye tattoo may symbolise wisdom and healing.

Circle:

Circles symbolize unity and wholeness. A circle could refer to wholeness in society as well. If a person wears a circle, he or she may want to represent the whole and not just a piece of himself or herself.

Snake:

Snakes are known for being dangerous creatures, but in Chinese culture they are revered as wise guardians. As such, snake tattoos are thought to bring good luck and protection.

Flower:

Flowers are said to be symbolic of the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter) and love.

Anchor:

An anchor signifies loyalty, security and stability. Women who choose to get anchors tattooed on their ankles are seeking a partner who will stand by them through thick and thin. If the anchor is upside down, then the person isn't looking for commitment.

Lotus:

The lotus flower symbolises purity, spiritual enlightenment and eternal life.

Sun:

The sun represents the power of the universe and its rays represent growth, knowledge and wisdom. The sun also represents the fire of passion and desire.

Heart:

Hearts are seen as a strong sign of affection and friendship. They represent the heartbeat of society and are sometimes worn to show support for a cause or group of people.

Butterfly:

Everyone wants to be beautiful especially when they're young. Having a butterfly tattoo on your skin will make other girls jealous because you look amazing no matter what age you are. People who get this tattoo often say that they feel happy because they've been blessed with beauty.

Rose:

If you decide to get a rose tattooed on your skin, people will think that you're ready to fall in love. No matter how much he or she loves you, if you don't reciprocate their feelings, they won't care at all about you. But if you do love them, then getting this tattoo won't stop any romantic activity between the two of you.

The infinity sign:

The infinity sign (∞) is a mathematical symbol representing an endless quantity or quantity without a limit. The symbol looks like 2 connected straight lines with arrows pointing toward each other. The symbol is often seen in both mathematics and physics and represents an undefined value. When combined with words, ∞ represents an unknown number whose magnitude is infinite. In addition, ∞ can represent an infinite series of numbers.
