Hello everyone! In this blog is about musical instruments…
Violin:
It is a stringed instrument played vertically across two courses, with seven strings per course. A violin may have six or eight strings, depending on the size of the body. A typical violin is 40 inches long, including the bow, and weighs 4 pounds.
Cello:
Cello is similar in design to the violin except it is 30 inches long and has four strings instead of seven.A typical cello weighs 2.8 pounds.
Guitar:
The guitar is the oldest plucked musical instrument still in existence today. It consists of a hollow-bodied wooden box called a guitar body; a neck for holding the strings; fretboard, which are metal bars that control how high each string goes; and sound holes where we hear the music. Guitars come in many sizes and shapes, depending on what kind of song you want to play. There are electric guitars, acoustic guitars, steel guitars, slide guitars, finger style guitars, resonator guitars, etc. You name it, there is probably a guitar out there to suit any type of musician!
Bass:
Bass is a string instrument that's designed to produce low frequencies similar to those of a drum kit. In some cases, basses have three or four strings (depending on whether they're double or single) tuned to E, A, D, G, F, Bb, Eb, and Ab. A typical bass is about 25 inches long and weighs between 5 and 10 pounds.
Flute:
Flutes are very popular wind instruments. Most flutes are made of bamboo and feature a wide bore hole at the end where air passes into the instrument. Wind blows over a reed inside the instrument causing it to vibrate, producing different pitches. When an octave button or lever is pressed, the pitch doubles. Flutes often have a case to hold their reeds and keys. Flutes are considered easy instruments to learn and make great beginners' instruments.
Trumpet:
A trumpet is a brass instrument consisting of a mouthpiece, a bell, and tubing connecting them together. Brass tubing is commonly used for trumpets, though they can sometimes use copper or aluminum tubing.
Horn:
Horns are mainly pitched instruments with either a conch shell or a metal tube as the blowing mechanism. They are typically used to create a loud tone, especially in marching bands.
Piano:
The piano has been around since the 16th century and was first introduced to Europe. Pianos are primarily played using hammers, which strike the strings to cause them to vibrate. The hammer strikes the strings via keyboard and action mechanism. Pianos are designed to produce tones ranging from low to high pitch. However, pianos cannot produce any middle-pitched note because of the design.
