Hello everyone! In this blog is about periods pain…..
Be gentle:
Be gentle with yourself during your period. While exercising and engaging in sexual activity won’t hurt you, applying force to the vagina could make your period heavier and painful. Use proper hygiene during your period, including using pads instead of tampons.
Drink plenty of water:
Drinking plenty of water helps flush out toxins and keep your body hydrated. Water helps flush out the period cramps and keep your uterus contracting throughout the day. Your doctor will tell you how much water to drink each day. If you have any medical conditions that require special care, talk to your doctor before drinking extra water.
Take your medication:
Taking your medications at the right time is critical during your menstrual cycle. If you experience severe symptoms, call your doctor immediately. Taking your medication regularly prevents your body from having a buildup of hormones that cause cramping and heavy bleeding. You may need to adjust your dosage if you’re taking birth control pills, but take the lowest dose possible.
Exercise:
Exercising regularly keeps your muscles toned and limber, helping them to relax and relieve some of the tension associated with menstruation. Exercises like yoga, running, walking, and swimming help improve blood flow to the pelvis and lower abdomen.
Eat well:
A balanced diet will prevent you from getting bloated and full. Try eating smaller meals throughout the day and avoid overeating. Also avoid caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, junk food, and sugary drinks. These substances increase the risk of hormone imbalances.
Sleep:
Sleep is important for maintaining good health. Get enough sleep, about 8 hours per night. Avoid sleeping on your back as it puts pressure on the lower spine and uterus. When lying down, place something soft between you and the bed for comfort.
Warm water baths:
Another great method of relieving menstrual cramps is to soak in a warm bath. Hot tubs are often full of bacteria, so if you would rather stay out of the tub, try soaking in lukewarm water instead. As long as you are bathing, make sure to wear loose clothing and remove hair accessories, especially earrings. Also, avoid wearing perfume or scented products, since these may irritate your skin. Make sure to moisturize your skin before getting into the bathtub, and then pat dry afterwards. Finally, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Take an herb-infused tea:
If you prefer herbal remedies over medications, you can still find relief from menstrual cramps. Tea tree oil, fennel seed, catnip, chamomile, and peppermint are all natural ways to relieve symptoms. Try making a cup of tea using 1 tablespoon each of crushed dried herbs of each type, along with boiling water. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and enjoy the rest of your afternoon!
