Hello everyone! In this blog is about biggest tress in the world…. 

Redwood:

Redwoods are hardy trees that can live in cold regions and have thick trunks. They can grow up to 300 feet tall and usually live about 500 years. These trees are native to Northern California and Oregon and are considered to be the largest trees in the world.There are only two remaining living specimens of these trees located at Sequoia National Park near Three Rivers, California. The park was established in 1940 to protect this forest from logging.

Giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum)

The giant sequoias are massive evergreen conifers that are native to coastal mountains of western North America. Its habitat includes the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Klamath Mountains.This tree grows up to 250 meters high, making them the tallest flowering plants on Earth. Their size makes them perfect for use as timber and firewood. They have been used to build houses, barns, roads and even temples.

 Great Basin bristlecone pine:

The great basin bristlecone pines are the oldest known trees on earth. Found in Inyo County, California, they are estimated to be over 5000 years old.The age of the tree has been determined by measuring the rings around the trunk.

 White Fir (Abies concolor)

White firs are tall evergreen coniferous trees native to China.They have been cultivated for their ornamental beauty for thousands of years, but their wood was not highly prized until the early 19th century, when western lumber barons began to demand better quality lumber than what could be obtained from white fir forests.

Ginkgo biloba:

Ginkgo trees have become famous for their unusual appearance. Ginkgos belong to the family Ginkgoaceae.There are about 500 species of ginkgos. Besides being a beautiful ornamental tree, ginkgos have many other interesting uses.

Sitka Spruce:

The sitk spruce is the official state tree of Alaska. It stretches higher than 326 feet and dates back to prehistoric days.

 Himalayan Cedar:

Also called the Blue Spruce, this variety of cedar grows taller than many of the tallest buildings. THe Himalayan Cedar grows best in cold climates.

Baobab:

These trees belong to the legume family and are native to Africa. The baobabs have a rounded shape and grow between 15-30 meters high.Their large trunks are popular among people who build their homes out of them. In fact, the term 'baobab' comes from Angola.

Eucalyptus:

The eucalyptus tree can grow over 200 feet tall, has thick hardwood and typically grows in coastal areas. Its leaves are used for medicinal purposes and other purposes in some parts of the world.The trees have been known to survive fires that destroy everything else around them. The tree was introduced into Australia from South East Asia hundreds of years ago and they now cover vast stretches of land.
