Basic Personal Hygiene Habits To Practice In Daily Life

Hello everyone! In this blog is about hygiene….

Keep hands clean:

Keeping your hands clean and germ free is imperative for your health. Most bacteria exist on our skin, but they are not always visible. If you touch surfaces that have been contaminated with germs, you can easily spread those germs onto other parts of your body, like your face, eyes, groin area, or mouth. Germs can also enter through cuts in your hand.

Keep your nails trimmed:

Nails should always be kept short enough to avoid injury but long enough to protect against cuts or nicks. Nails should never be filed down, painted, or treated with polish or gel. If you want to keep them longer, you can apply nail polish that has an ultraviolet light that will extend the wear of your manicure.

Covering your mouth when sneezing and coughing:

Covering your mouth while sneezing or coughing is extremely simple and something we need to do anyway. When you are going to sneeze or cough, make sure to place a hand over the top of  your mouth, rather than just covering your nose or face with your hand. This method is better for reducing the amount of droplets released in the air.

Sanitation:

Although this is closely related to hygiene, sanitation is more specific. When talking about sanitation, we are referring to keeping our homes, schools, and offices free of pathogens and disease-causing organisms. You  probably already know how to keep your home clean since you regularly disinfect everything from door  knobs to toilets. However, when it comes to school and office environments, we need to do a little extra cleaning to ensure the safety of everyone. Disinfecting shared items like water bottles, pens, pencils, and other supplies is a great place to start.

Proper Oral Hygiene:

Proper oral hygiene is extremely important to keep your mouth clean. Brush your teeth at least twice a day using a special toothbrush that you have been provided. To help prevent bad breath, use a mouthwash before going out. Do not forget to floss regularly!

Clean Your Skin:

Exfoliate your skin regularly to remove dead skin cells. Be sure to wash your face after working outdoors to avoid wrinkles from forming. Wash your hands often throughout the day to help reduce bacteria build-up. Wipe down surfaces where you frequently eat or drink to make them less likely to get contaminated.

Shower :

Shower or bathe immediately after work or games. When you spend long hours outdoors, especially in warm weather, you sweat and then you need to rinse yourself off. But if you don't shower soon after, you leave behind harmful bacteria, germs and fungi that can cause illnesses and infections.

Drink plenty of water:

Water is essential for our bodies. There is no substitute for this liquid. Even though you might think you’re thirsty, you are actually just dehydrated. Proper hydration allows you to function at your best.

Thank you……
