All the festivals and fasts we keep here, have science behind them along with spirituality.  The festival of Navratri is also a manifestation of this scientific system, which starts with Chaitra month Shukla Paksha Pratipada exactly six months later on Ashwin month Shukla Pratipada. 

 This is a festival based entirely on scientific calculations.  Navratri - In this yoga, there is samara and duality takes place, hence its pure pronunciation is 'Navratri'.  On the broadcast night, the question arises that why the word night was added in Navratri.  

Ratri means accomplishment and most of the obstructions are removed at night, the ultraviolet rays of the sun are not very effective at night, so the time from the radio station is heard more clearly.  Let the waves of chanting mantras not be affected by the rays of the sun, there should be maximum auspiciousness from them, it tells the importance of night in Navratri.  

The second biggest reason is the changes in nature and the environment.  We have a tradition here that the summer season crop is used in the winter season and the one which is in the winter season is used in the summer season.  Our body deals with the adaptations of nature.

Navratri is a type of sandhi festival that comes between two changing seasons.  When we move from the winter season to the summer season comes one Navaratri festival and when we move from the rainy season to the winter season then another Navratri festival comes.  It is necessary to mention the importance of nine days in this.  

There are Navagrahas in our universe and this nature is based on the Navagraha festival.  These Navagrahas have a direct effect on our bodies.  Durga is established in this Navagraha, which is a symbol of power.  According to Durga Saptashati of Markandeya Purana, Durga nurtures all people in the form of reverence, forgiveness, shadow, power, mother, and craving.  

Navratri festival talks about overall discipline, which we find everywhere in Durga Saptashati.  Sage Vishwamitra has mentioned Jagadamba in every soul while narrating the infinite secrets of Mother Jagadamba.  That is why 51 Durga Peethas from the high peaks of the Himalayas to the middle of the ocean are a symbol of the fact that there is only one Goddess for communion in different parts and classes of the whole of India – Yoga Maya.  

It is believed that behind every person there is Yoga Maya, their self-power is standing, and that is what controls us.  Therefore Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Ashta Vasu, Ekadash Rudra, Dwadash Aditya, and the whole world worship their power.  Nine forms are included in the form of this goddess.  From Mahalakshmi to Navdurga, all the great splendors of human life, all aspects are contained in Navdurga. 

 Therefore, we do not only celebrate the festival of Ritu Sandhi in Navratri, but we celebrate Navratri by considering nature as the mother.  We also need that in this Navratri, by considering nature as mother, we should make every effort to protect it.
