What are the courses:-
BTech course is conducted in three branches of IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology). These three branches are – Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, and Physical Sciences. The engineering aerospace and avionics branches have 60 seats each, while the physical sciences have 36 seats.
The duration of the B.Tech course is four years. of the institute For admission to B.Tech, the applicant must have passed class XII with at least 70 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. SC / ST and Physically Handicapped applicants must have passed with 60% marks. Applicant should be born on or after 1 October 1989. For SC / ST / SC this date has been kept as 1 October 1984.
How to get admission:-
The Institute will issue a brochure containing the detailed information for admission to IIST in April 2014 and the registration will be done in May 2014. The applicant has to appear in JEE-2014 in both Mains and Advanced.
For admission, he/she must have secured a good rank in JEE Advanced. IIST will issue the merit for granting admission. Admission will be available only after coming in that merit. For this, it will be necessary to be registered here.
