What are the limits?  Many times the question comes to mind what are the boundaries that have been drawn between different countries?  What do boundaries mean to you?  Often when we think of a border, we picture a wall that separates us from another place or country.

But, when we actually see a border, then we come to know that it is nothing but an imaginary line that has been agreed upon between two nations.  Most of the 'borders' do not even have a barbed wire separation, but large numbers of troops are deployed just to guard this imaginary line.

There are wars, in which a large number of soldiers are killed.  Billions of rupees are spent for their protection.  But, you will be surprised to know that my search for stories took me to a place in India where the border between India and Myanmar passes through someone's house.  Yes.  Such a house is located in Longwa village in the Mon district of Nagaland, which is home to the Konyakan tribe, human head hunters.

Although now Hunting of this kind is prohibited, just a few decades ago, Konyak tribesmen used to kill people in tribal wars and bring their skulls home as a symbol of victory, which was used as symbols of pride in their homes.  was kept as It was believed that the more skulls one had, the greater the warrior, but today, when people are killing each other to expand their borders and grab more land, the same head-hunting Konyak tribe has brought to their village and here.  until their king's kitchen Even after being divided into two borders, she lives in peace, her house is half in India and half in Myanmar.

I met the village king, who explained that many years ago, when the Indo-Myanmar border was being drawn up, the government had decided it on the basis of a river's current.

But, later he realized that the line goes through a village and someone's house.  Today the border has been retained, but the people of Longwa village have been given dual citizenship.  They are citizens of both India and Myanmar.

The children there study in Myanmar schools for primary education and Indian school for higher education.  When I met the king in his kitchen, he extended his hand with a cup of tea in his hand and said 'I am now giving you tea sitting in India and we are sitting in Myanmar'.

Isn't it wonderful and interesting this visit I also learned that we can live in peace irrespective of any border issue.  We should draw this inspiration from these ancient human headhunters.  Till the next story...Happiness always.
