The coming month is going to be special for those who wish to take admitted to Delhi University, one of the central universities in the country.  On the basis of their marks in class XII, students are already looking at the previous cutoff and guessing whether this time they have the chance of getting the desired course in the college of their choice or not.  

What are the courses:-

In this session, courses related to Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, and Mathematical Sciences will be available at DU.  Depending on your subjects and your interest in class XII, you can apply for the undergraduate course.

Fill OMR Form: -

 For applying to DU degree courses, you have to fill out an OMR form in which columns will be made next to the courses in which you want to take admission.  For online application, you have to visit the DU website www.du.ac.in.  Many major colleges of DU have been made centers for offline application.  

Best Four Score:- 

The percentage given in DU's cutoff is not the total percentage of 12th but the percentage of the best four subjects.  In these best four, one language and the other three main subjects are from your stream.
 

What is the admission process:- 

The first step for admission to DU degree courses is to fill out the OMR form.  The courses for which you will mark in the form will be considered an applicant for admission in those courses.  After this, the cutoff will be released by the university.  In the college where the number is coming in the cutoff, you can take admission in the next three days after the cutoff. 

 When will the cutoff come: - 

The registration for the application can be done from June 5 to the last week of June.  The first cutoff will come on the first week of July, June.  After this, the second cutoff comes on the last week of July 1.  A total of five cutoffs are expected.
 

Available Hostels: -

 Among the students coming to study at DU, a large number of students coming from outside states are also there.  Hence hostel facility is available in many colleges at DU.  If you do not want to stay in the college hostel or if the seats become full then the facilities of paying guests or separate rooms are also available in the vicinity of these colleges.  

View the course, not the college: - 

In the race for the cutoff, the students are involved in this conflict about whether they should settle for the course for their favorite college or from the college for the preferred course. 
 

What is the change: -

 After the changes made this year, now you will get a four-year degree of Bachelors's Honors / B.Tech.  However, the option has also been kept in front of the students that if they want, they can pass with a diploma in two years, a general degree in three years, and an honors degree in four years.
