 The Government Office Ki Gaadi is the third satirical collection of Alok Saxena.  As the name suggests, the main theme of this collection is the squid arising from the discrepancies in the functioning of government offices and their implementation.  

The environment in which a person spends most of his time can certainly comment on it with impunity.  Alok Saxena's writings also repeatedly highlight the discrepancies that make a man an officer and an officer an opportunist.  Satirical articles such as 'Gaadi', 'Government office ki', and 'Boss praise ke lit lamp' allude to the tendencies a person puts on to cover up his frustrations.

  Alok Saxena's satire is like a flat statement.  There is little euphemism in these and the flow of events is high.  Despite these few weaknesses, the envy of all the satirical offices of the collection,  Facilitators, and freebies bring forth very clearly the attitude and ways and excuses of not working.

These days most of the satirical writing is happening around politics.  Alok Saxena has not made politics his subject.  Topics like credit cards, flat culture, budget, and Holi have been raised prominently.  The power of the author's writing is to find ostentation and hypocrisy in seemingly ordinary subjects.  A dog is the only animal that if it is loyal to its owner.

If you come down, tease the owner back too.  Before becoming a contractor, if a contractor learns the magic of sending money from his pocket to someone else's pocket with thanks written, then what is the use of an electronic eye that can catch the contractor? 

 Such interesting and sharp remarks appear in almost all the satirical articles in this collection.  The author understands the small concerns of the common man.  Saxena creates sarcasm even in these situations, being face-to-face with the concerns and problems of the common man.  

A feature of his writing is that none of the satirical articles are sloppy and obscene.  He is untouched by the so-called openness which is dominated by humor and satire these days.  All the satires in the collection are readable.  There is one more expectation from the author - of the titles of the satirical articles are a little brief, then the curiosity towards the whole article remains.
