As promised, let's embark on the journey of more beautiful and out-of-this-world wonders on this appealing inhabitable planet called Earth.
The national park is located in the United States and expands through the cities of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone is one of the first national parks in the United States and as America is a superpower so ideally the first national park in the world. Spanning an area of 8,963 square kilometers it has all that needs to be, namely lakes, rivers, mountains ranges and canyons. The main attraction is the hot water geysers formed by a dormant volcano underneath, more than half of the world's geysers are in the Yellowstone National Park.
Iguaza loosely translates through into big water body and it stands by the word “big”, it is located in between Brazilian and Argentinian borders. The river is divided into two parts based on the falls, the upper Iguazu river and the lower Iguazu river, which you can easily depict from the photograph below.
More than half of the water of the river falls into a narrow chasm (a deep fissure into the earth's surface) which is also known as Devil's Throat.
A barren landscape of 9,200,000 square kilometers i.e. 31% of the total landmass of Africa. It is the largest “hot desert” in the world, contrary to what was taught in the '90s. It is the third-largest desert in the world after Antarctica and the Arctic. There has been a boom in tourism as the infrastructure grew, but a large portion remains untouched.
Galapagos island is located on both sides of the equator in the pacific ocean and they are formed by volcanic eruptions, governed by the Republic of Ecuador. Though located on the equator it has pleasant weather with periodic drizzles due to cold currents that come from the surrounding water.
Pamukkale literally means “cotton castle” in Turkish. The area is famous for carbonate mineral which is left by the flowing thermal spring water. Tourism was always booming even in ancient times due to the hot water pools. There are 17 springs that vary in temperature ranging from 35 degrees to 100 degrees Celcius. Humanity came to its senses soon enough in the 1960s as all the hotels around it were demolished to protect what is nature's wonder.
Remember, " Travel isn't always pretty , it isn't always comfortable. Sometimes it breaks your heart,but that's okay.The journey changes you, and it should change you.
