On early days of my childhood the only available kids channel was cartoon network and it was a hit. Whole day a marathon of different cartoon programme was played and there was a no need of other channel.

As we started growing up around the age of 11 or 12 animex channel and pogo channel came and we instantly fell in love with those channel. At first we did not watched pogo channel as much as animex. We fell in loved with Japanese animation but then animex channel was no more available. So, eventually cartoon network and pogo channel started airing Japanese animation on their channels too.

I, who was very addicted to anime would always be excited to reach home as my favourite animation would always start from 3 pm. I do not remember specific time schedules but I do remember waiting for the time to reach 3 pm eventhough I reached home at 2:30 pm. 

I specifically remember when I was class 6 and when my first term exam was going on, cartoon network started airing naruto series. I who needs to focus on studies because I am very average student was always excited to reach home early just to watch naruto instead of resting and start preparing for the next exam. I remember that when naruto series started they aired it at 12 pm and it would continue till 2 or 3 pm I think and I would always watch it not missing even a single day. Thus my addiction on naruto series continued till my college life that is until it's last episode.

When pogo channel started airing ‘winx club’ I was also one of those kids who were really into it. I would always watch powerpuff girls from 3 pm till 4 pm on cartoon network and from 4 pm to 5 pm winx club would be aired in pogo channel. My parents does not allow us to watch tv daily saying it is a distraction but I would always watch it before they reached home. I would always try to finish my meal before 3 pm and bring my towel with me to watch tv and when I hear my parents coming I would run to the bathroom and bathe fast and act like I did not watch tv at all but that I was just washing myself. Now that I am grown up I know my parents knew I was lying but it was all fun trying to study and watching tv in between. I remember when bay blade and dragon ball Z series started it aired at 5 pm, me and my brother would be on high alert watching it, so that we do not get caught. Eventhough we get caught everyday, we would still continue watching the next day just because beating and scolding comes later but satisfying our eyes were the main at that moment.
