IRCTC disabled Kanak
When the government announced that the train service will start from June 2020, when I log into the IRCTC app (account) to see which routes are allowed, my details are not showing anything.

IRCTC which has disabled the account
At first I thought it was some technical glitch, but after trying the app, the same thing came up, when I entered the IRCTC site (account) it said “Your Account Suspended”.

I don't know why they suspended me! If you search on Google, many people have advised you to call 0755-6610661.

After choosing Angith and telling the problem to the person who came in contact, I didn't understand anything because he spoke English in Hindi slang very fast.

I understand that the number in the Master List is too high.

When asked how to reactivate the account, he gave an email address, and despite asking several times, he didn't understand what he said. Finally on Google search, I realized what he said was care@irctc.co.in.

Before understanding the four letters of care, it screamed.

Dear Customer,

We would like to inform you that your user id ****** is inactive due to 9/Other Miscellaneous Reasons. Therefore, you are unable to use it.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused please re-register on irctc website with alternate email id and/or mobile no.

That was the immediate reply.

I haven't used it in two months, how can I use it during lockdown?! After asking this, another ticket number was generated.

That means if they reply, they close the ticket without replying to our reply.

Again same answer Ticket Closed.

I have been using this account for more than 15 years. I don't have any other mobile number. Please activate the account' and send it back.

Not for commercial use. Someone in the family would make a reservation and ask or I would travel with them.

Age can be easily added during pre-registration if included in Master List to avoid spelling errors. This is why I have included the names Akka and Akka Basanga.

And that too only because IRCTC allows it! If I had been advised not to add more than 10 people, I definitely would not have done it. How can it be justified that they have allowed the account to be disabled now?

These people can be controlled so that they cannot add more than 10 people!

I replied back saying this. Returned new ticket but no response. I realized that there was no point in talking to them anymore.

I looked for the Escalation Matrix to somehow recover the account, but there was none.

After several Google searches, the official Twitter account @RailwaySeva had a responsible answer to many.
