I am currently pursuing degree of bcom if any of you dont know the full form its bachelor of commerce.
It was my first day and college and some seniors barged in our class, they were banging door, desk, yelling. They asked us to stand up and fold our arms with our eyes down we were not supposed to look at them directly. Then they told us that we have to greet them and address them as mam and sir.We were okay with this but then they crossed a step and they were like walk with your heads down if you see any seniors, wish them even if they dont wish you back.
And they were just yelling like some ill mannered people and asking us to behave.I didnt agree to this and complained about this to my father. My father knows the college authoritied very well and he gave them a call and warned them that if this continues we will be forced to take an action.
Then next day a proffesor came to our class and he justified whatever happened the other day and he was explaining that whatever happened was just an interaction process and not ragging.
We agreed and then they continue to come to our class till today but its fun now because I dont do anything at which they can get mad at me and who ever does they make them stand yell at them warn them and go away.
Today they came to our class and warned us about our behaviour. Some of the students are not greeting the seniors and mocking them. They have given us 8 days to get in line and then they will give us our freshers party or else we will be boycotted. There is slight chance that our freshers will not happen anyways because of covid norms. But if the count drops there is still a line of hope.
One group of the class doesnt want freshers because seniors yell at us but its not just about freshers its about interaction, getting to know them because we will be staying together for 3 years and who know who might become helpful to you at times. And not just about this but also why to hold grudge against anyone for any silly reason.
We got our freshers party and it was really good.We had a good bonding time with our seniors. We hope that peace continues for the coming years between us.
