In this covid crisis a dip in oxygen level is very concerning but drop in oxygen level is observed even when you are covid negative so to increase this we can work on two things, our diet and yoga.
First of all we will talk about yoga.
In this yogasana first sit on chair or ground whichever is comfortable to you and then close your right nostril with yout right thumb. Then breathe in from your left nostril and slowly relase your right nostril and close your left nostril with ring finger and middle finger and exhale from your right nostril.
I would prefer doing this yogasana early in the morning empty stomach or in the evening post meal after a long gap.
Doing this for 10 to 15 mins everyday will give you results.
In this yogasana sit on your knees with your right ankle over left.Keep you hands on your knees, stick your tongue out till your chin, widen your eyes, let your facial muscles expand, take a deep breath and then exhale throught mouth with βhaβ sound.
This yogasana gives to result immedietly with rise in your oxygen level by 3-4 points.
Repeat this yogasana with 10 breaths with you tongue rolled out and 10 breaths with your tongue touching the roof of your mouth
It is a wonderful stretching exercise which improves your posture and also increases your oxygen saturation by making room in your lungs to inhale.
In this yogasana you just have to lay on the ground facing the ground, lift your torso upto your navel till you feel a slight strech in your lower back release and return to starting position.
Your diet plays an important role in everything and in this case too.For increasing your oxygen level you need to focus on antooxidants which help your body use oxygen efficiently and other is essential fatty acids which increase the amount of oxygen carried by haemoglobin in blood stream. Some of these are mentioned below.
