People become vegetarians for many reasons such as health,religious convictions etc.Some people follow a largely vegetarian diet because they don't prefer meat products.Vegetarian diets  have fewer calories, lower levels of saturated fat and cholesterol, and more fiber, potassium and vitamin C .

Vegetarian have less weight than meat eaters.Vegetarian diets are beneficial in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes etc.They consume less fats and cholesterol in the diet and consume more vitamins and minerals. Pulses  are the rich sources of protein.This diet will give numerous health benefits and also lower the chance of heart diseases.It also  rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, promoting digestive health and reducing inflammation.

Plant-based diet is  rich in collagen-boosting ingredients and high in vitamin C and antioxidants.Collagen helps the skin to youthful looking.Vegetarians choose variety of plant based foods such as fruits,vegetables and whole grains.Nuts and legumes, such as lentils, beans and peanuts, also are  other healthy plant-based foods.People often want to start eating less meat or completely start a  vegetarian diet because it's healthier for them. 

Plant based foods are a key source of dietary fibre, resistance starch, and potent plant compounds including antioxidants and phytochemicals. If you want the heart-protective benefits of the diet, have to include 

  • high-fiber whole grains
  • legumes
  • nuts
  • vegetables and fruits
  • And always keep in mind that if you eat too many calories, even from nutritious, low-fat, plant-based foods. You will  gain weight.You can get many of the health benefits of being vegetarian without going all the way.
  • Vegetarians are people who do not eat meat, or seafood.It replace saturated and trans fats with good fats.There is  some evidence that vegetarians have a lower risk for cardiac events such as a heart attack and death from cardiac causes.Nuts  have a low glycemic index and contain many antioxidants, vegetable protein, fiber, minerals, and healthy fatty acids. Walnuts  are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have many health benefits to vegetarians.
  • Many studies suggest that eating lots of fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of developing certain cancers.If you stop eating red meat , you will eliminate a risk factor for colon cancer. The high potassium and magnesium content of fruits and vegetables reduces blood acidity, lowering the urinary excretion of calcium.People who follow a vegetarian diet,  may be at risk of getting insufficient vitamin D and vitamin K, both needed for bone health. vegetarian  must requires planning and knowledge of plant-based nutrition.
