As J.K Rowling said : I do believe something very magical can happen when reading a good book.
I agree with her! Why? Because a good book can open your mind in such a way that it leaves you thinking about it for days, even months.
That's why today in this blog I want to share a review of a book I read recently. Hope you like it!
A journey of a man who learns that the childhood problems, no doctor can diagnose him with, is a curse or cure where he can turn his vast imagination into reality, wherein he may be a hero or villain. Join the adventure of Miguel Le Fablec, an aerospace engineer with a dream to work in NASA to discover his powers. The Midas Effect talks about love, power, religion, and the interesting characteristics of quantum mechanics.
Manuel dorado beautifully described the tale of King Midas, where he can turn anything he touches into gold; only to have consumed him and destroy everything he loves in the end. Author Manuel Dorado amalgamates the story of Miguel Le Fablec and King Midas in his debut novel, where he described how the power one has can reduce to rubble your mind.
From the start, the author made sure to trap the audience with excellent and well-balanced actions, and now no longer to make the book look as if a superhero comic. The Midas Effect talks about the realism of nature with quantum mechanics, and how it is an important element to balance it.
The most important theme is power, and the author made certain to describe it in an unambiguous way how the one who wants it will do anything to obtain it, and how the one who has it will resent it.
Furthermore, Dorado's characters are very thoroughly described with a good background. The habits each character exhibits made it more believable.
I would like to rate the book 3 out of 4, as I feel the author stopped himself from exploring more. Still, Dorado neatly wraps the book. Anyone who has a knack for science, religion, power, and love will love this thriller.
The Midas Effect is not to be recommended to youngers as it includes a few mature themes.
I would suggest this book for the people who loves to read about mystery, crime, thriller, and have a keen interest in quantum physics, quantum mechanics.
Give this book a go!
