A king destroyed by desire!
In ancient times, there were two prosperous countries, Upper Valley Country and Lower Valley Country. A king named Mathilmegan ruled the upper Vyal country and a king named Sezhiyan ruled the lower Vyal country. Among them Matilmegan was only thinking about the development of the country. The same was true of Cheliyan. However, Chehyan used to go hunting every day and was destroying other country's resources.
One day when a rich man went to another country on business, he heard some people there talking about the Upper Valley country. That's when he got a secret. That is, it turns out that there is gold in the upland country under the river.
Cheliyan's desire to reach that country increased every day when he learned this secret. But as it was impossible to resist the Upper Valley country, he devised a plan. For that he went to Mathilmegan and said that the two countries can work together to eradicate poverty in the agricultural lands of both countries.
King Matilmegha initially refused. Later, Chehyan accepted what he said. Then they divided the lands according to themselves for farming. In this, the river was controlled by Chezhyan.
Both were farming well. After a few months, Chehyan began to carry out his plan. If the river is allowed to be used for irrigation, it will have to do agriculture itself. Therefore, they did not open the water for irrigation, thinking that the search for gold would stop.
As a result, the agriculture in that area was affected and there was poverty. Madhimegan, unaware of this event, promised to give a portion of his treasure to the ministers.
Believing this, the other ministers also agreed to it and did not see any of Chehyan's actions. But the people there tried to inform King Mathimeka about what Chechiyan was doing. But they couldn't.
In this case, a worker named Karigalan made a revolution there. Within days the revolution spread like wildfire across the country. Afraid of the people's revolution, Sejyan attacked the innocent people with their country's armed forces. The Sejyan army was headed for destruction due to the popular revolution.
All the people went to Chehyan's place and brought him captive and tied him to a tree near the river and beat him. Then they threw his body in the same river where he wanted to reach the treasure. Then the people went and told this information to the Matilmegha king. King Mathilmegha was shocked to hear that.
Then he convened the cabinet again and decided to merge the Lower Valley country with his country. Both the countries became one with abundant resources. The rich man who wanted to exploit the treasure went to the soil. His desire has led to destruction.
Justice:
If we only want to achieve something without the intention of sharing it with others, that desire will destroy us.
