Hello, and welcome back to my blog. I hope you all are doing well and all healthy. So, the topic for today is quite a phobia to some people. Firstly many of you might not be knowing the meaning of the term "HOMOPHOBIA". So let me start by explaining the meaning of it. In simple HOMOPHOBIA means prejudice against gay people. A certain section of our society still does not accept this fact and they are not very open to this kind of term. It is absolutely okay if you are one of those who feel this I would suggest some ways through which you can overcome this phobia.
Coming to some ways by which you can overcome this phobia. First is talk, talk about whatever you feel about this term and people to your friend who is not gay. At first, let it out what makes you feel uncomfortable swallowing this fact in. speak it out to a friend. Next when you think that you have let most of the things out of your head go to the second step that is writing. You would still be left with some things or doubts or questions that your friend won't answer because he is not gay too... So jot them down and start questioning google. Get to know the community more by reading some personal story blogs and try to face it a little. Once you start practicing this you would be use to this. Try reading or knowing something new about that community slowly you will see that you have eradicated that phobia about them.
The next step is to see any of your friends or someone whom you know is gay. You can tell them that you are still in the process of overcoming this phobia and they will help you too. You can ask them some questions or doubts you have still. With these steps, I'm sure you would be able to overcome this phobia. But one thing to note is that you should be willing to overcome this phobia you should have it from inside and not forcefully under someone's pressure. You should be ready to take in the knowledge and swallow that information. And once you overcome this I'm sure you will definitely help others to overcome it too. Because you have been on that journey so your experience would help others too.
That's it guys thank you so much for staying up until the end. will be back with something new till the take care & stay safe.
