The year 2020 saw a sudden outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. The world has not witnessed such kind of pandemic in the last century. This sudden outrage of corona virus brought a drastic change to our lives. People were forced to be in their home and not go out. Students got stuck at home with no schools and colleges open for almost a year. The working professionals had to bring their office at their home and work-from-home . Small businessmen and daily wages workers lost their living and doctors and nurses got so busy in hospitals that they haven't thought to be. We saw a lot of negativities all around us.
But their are many things to learn from this pandemic. So let's have a look at the things that we can learn :
(1.) Corona has not affected people looking at their caste or religion or colour or sex. It did not differentiate people. So, likewise why do we discriminate on these grounds. We should always treat everyone equally.
(2.) What is the nature trying to teach us ?
We have wrapped our earth with plastics and in return nature has wrapped we human in plastics (doctors and nurses wrapped in ppe kits). Our nature is trying to give us a message that we need to recycle the waste materials that are harming our mother nature. We need to become more eco-friendly and be more responsible towards our nature.
(3.) We must make our immunity strong. The corona virus harmed the people most with weak immunity power. This pandemic teaches us to be more conscious about our immunity. We must take a good care of our health. We must acquire a healthy lifestyle.
(4.) This pandemic teaches us to value and have gratitude and appreciation for all that we have. Be sensitive, share and care. This period shows us the immense power of kindness, how important love and care is and nourish true relationships and human life. We have seen many helping hands coming forward to help the people who found themselves alone and hopeless during this pandemic. We saw people distributing food packets, milk, fruits and vegetables along with other basic items to the needy people.
(5.) There is no rainbow without rain. Lockdown and other restrictions have have made it difficult for our children, but they have adapted and found creative ways of spending their time, tbey have learnt to participate in daily activities, exercising and meditation, yoga various hobbies have become a part of their routine.
So, bad times do come when are patience, tolerance , discipline and character are tested. We don't have to be hopeless and think about are future.
This is a period of transition from darkness to light. We have to keep a positive approach towards our life.
