We live in a society that was considered as a male dominated society a few decades ago. Females were suppressed in every field and we were not given their basic rights also.

But for the last few decades, we have been working on this. We have been taking measures to maintain the “Equality” between male and female of our society by giving them equal rights and opportunities to females. Opportunities in education, govt. jobs, corporates, opportunity to establish their own business. In many circumstances we have given women the upper hand to enjoy their rights by giving them protection, i.e, the administrative and judicial protection.

Now, the question that arises here is that are we sharing real equality? Or have we overhyped feminism. This question is arising because of some viral social media videos where women are misusing their rights and harrassing men.

Firstly the case of a Pizza delivery person, where a girl who ordered Pizza puts wrong allegations against the delivery person who asked for the payment but the girl there puts allegations of being beaten by the person. 

Second case is a recent one where a girl is continuously slapping a cab driver for no reason. She also broke his smartphone.

From these 2 cases, I have observed that feminism is being over hyped. If in both the cases, it was a male slapping a women,we would have seen a lot of feminist activists shouting for justice, punishment for the male guy and lot of candle marches. But just because it was a female who was slapping a male guy, so the male guy must have done something, he should be punished. Without any reason we made a innocent guy, a culprit.

Seriously, this is not equality that we demanded for. If we talk about equality, we must share it equally between both the  males and females. We should not overhype feminism. It is correct to give them their rights but the judicial protection should be given to both the males and females equally.

We don't have to look for a male dominated or a female dominated society rather we must make ways to establish a society which seeks the equal contribution of both male and female. No one should be made superior here. The investigation in these cases should be done correctly and the guilty must be punished. No matter whoever is the guilty, even if it's a female she must be equally punished. We have to promote gender equality.

This is a request to all my readers, to not to promote fake feminism and take steps to promote gender equality.
