There are many things that has to be learned when you become a parent. Today most parents are so busy earning money (which is also a necessity) that they are somehow not able to give their best as a parent. 

This has been recorded from a general observation. There were a group of 15 parents in my neighborhood who had gathered to talk about their shortcomings as a parent. I would point out those issues which are faced by these group of parents.

Not able to give time

Most of the parents said that they are not able to invest the required time to their children and that is the reason the children are not growing properly.

Now children always doesn't need parents care. They also need their friends, teachers and other members of the family or neighbors. Parents should not always blame themselves for this. .

Caring is not done properly

Today parents are so much careful about caring their children that this is becoming a problem in a negative way. Think of our parents. I don't remember staying with my parents for a long time in a day. I was mostly with my friends, neighbors, grannies and maids although my mother was a homemaker. I never required my parents to be around me always and that was good.

Today I think parents need to take little less care for their children . They should not do overwork here. Because children always don't require parents. They prefer some other people in their lives too. That's a kind of refreshment for them. Parents should understand this psychology.

Teachers are not good

Often parents complain about the teachers. But teachers know their job. They are doing their job and that's good enough for every child. We all studied under different teachers . Our parents hardly knew that teachers could be complained about. They never uttered a single bad word against the teachers and never taught their children to have a negative notion about their teachers.
But today parents are over conscious and that's how they  harming their children. So that is why parenting is not an easy thing to do, these days.

Facing mental problems and speech problems

Most of the children are facing some or the other issues these days from their early childhood. Either speech problem or mental illness something or the other is to be found these days. 

So tackling these problems is very hard for the parents. That is why parenting is not an easy thing anymore. 

Addicted to gadgets and online environment

Now this is absolutely not the fault of the child. Parents want to get some free time so they hand over the gadget or the mobile to the child and when the child becomes addicted , parents start to suffer.

So parenting is really too tough these days…

Children are becoming stubborn and always demanding

Because the children get to see their parents earning the whole day. They get to believe that whatever they ask for will be given to them by their parents. These are making them stubborn and demanding.

So this is a hard problem for the parents to handle.

So we see that parenting in this generation is too tough . Children are smarter than what they used to be in the previous generations. So to do parenting in a proper way is a hard task to do these days.
