The Sleeping Deficiency In This Pandemic

There are some major negative effects that have hit us during the pandemic. Now the pandemic is itself a negative thing that has happened to us. Moreover it has brought with it some major lifestyle issues which has really affected us badly.

One such effect is the sleeping deficiency during the pandemic. There are several reasons for this deficiency. I would like to point out few reasons in the next segment of the blog.

Why is there so much sleep deficiency in the pandemic ?

1.The very first reason is that our external activity has decreased a lot than before. We are ordering everything online. We are not going out to fetch anything that we require. So as result our physical activities took a backseat. The energy that we have gained could not be burnt out because of our less activity. 

As a result when we went to sleep there was no sleep in our eyes.

2. The second reason is the constant stress brought by the pandemic. So many people dying everyday due to Covid and the constant stress related to the pandemic made us so much worried that there was no sleep into our eyes at the end of the day.

3. The third reason is very crucial though it might not be the cause for every family. There were many families who have lost their job, business and livelihood during the pandemic. This has effected so much that there was naturally no sleep in the eyes of many people.

Is there any way out to get out of this sleep deficiency?

I do not how many of the readers agree on this topic but I was one among those people who suffered from sleep deficiency and that is the reason I would like to share my thoughts and solutions with you guys.

There were some very ugly nights when I could get no sleep in the night. My husband had to take me to a walk or a bike ride at night to get some refreshment so that I could get some sleep.

But today I have come with some solutions to those problems which has worked fine for me.

1.The first thing that I did was that I stopped taking all the occasional small naps that I used to take during breaks from my work. I took rest but no naps in the daytime.

2. Secondly , I started avoiding my Android phone as much as I could through out the day and night schedule. 

3. Thirdly , I started increasing my reading habit before my night sleep.

4. Fourthly, I avoided coffee as much possible for me.

5. I started meditation for about 10 minutes.

6. I increased my walking time to 2 hours and engaged myself to all sorts of activities that I could probably find out for myself in order to tire up my mind and body so that it would demand some rest from me.

7. I decreased the the online activities with computer and Television and mobile.

8. I went out for short vacation to a nearby hill station for some refreshment.

9. I increased the duration of my music practice as it soothes the mind .

10. I increased my arts and crafts work like painting, stitching, hand made works and other creative aspects like recitation and composing poetry and other compositions from my mind.

So friends, if you also have faced such issue or are still facing such issue, you may follow my footstep . I think you might also get some good solution for the same issue.
