I was watching a movie recently, it was a decent movie with a strong message…I would not like to describe the movie over here I would rather discuss the message portrayed by the movie.

The message was, ‘Not to let others define us’. We should define ourselves all by our own efforts.

Situation 1

Let  me take help of a situation when we are actually very polite as a person but we are misunderstood because of the attitude we have to carry during our working hours. If you are a boss you have to meet your targets and get your work done by your employees. So at a point of time you have to be strict with the employees. You cant afford to be cool when your employees do not meet the target at the end of the day. It is directly related to the revenue generated. So that place you have to be strict. But your strict nature is misunderstood by your employees and people who are working under you. You are represented to be shrewd, impolite and too much rough….. at the end of the day..!!!

But that's not how you want to be represented as…right??

Situation 2

The next situation is you  are a woman but you gel well with men. Not because you are attracted to men…But because your mental wavelength matches with men. It might have a previous history to explain. You might have always found the company of boys better than girls. When you were a child at school, you liked to share your tiffin with boys, you might have had the best pals in school and colleges who were male.

But people define you as something very wrong.. They might point out at your character too. 

You know the truth that you can better communicate with a male colleague or a male friend. 

But people and society define you completely differently.

So who likes to be defined so wrongly??

No one…right??

Situation 3

You might not have so much money to buy expensive dresses and make up for yourself to present yourself in a very expressive and attractive way. 

You might carry yourself in a simple way with a simple hairstyle and simple hand bag and simple look altogether.

But since you do not carry a attractive look, people might take you as a very boring and uninteresting person…

But you know inside…that the companies major revenue is generated by your ideas…. So how does it feel??

No one can feel good in this kind of situations.

So you need to rethink on such kind of situations in life…

No matter what people think of you do not let others define you the way they want…

Give an answer to their gesture…

The best answer is to find out if at all you have any fault. If you have any fault, try to work on it and do the needful..

But if you are confident that…in no way you are wrong….Then just carry your confidence in a decent and polite style….

Thats it…

If you are confident about your action, nobody else can have the guts to define you…in their imagined way…..!!
