The Boy Who Stole Bicycles

Dear Suave readers, Welcome back to my new blog. Today I will share the story of a boy who leads a daredevil childhood.

A stressed parental relationship impacted the child in a negative way. A drunkard and violent father and a helpless mother couldn’t hand over a desirable childhood to the boy. The name of the boy is supposedly “Guddu.”. Obviously, I am not revealing the true identity of the boy.

Everyday domestic violence matured the boy in more than one way. The gene shows its effect in the kid from a tender age. Guddu took up most characteristics of his father. The kid became repulsive and bad mannered.

As the boy grew up to be an  adolescent, his mother could not bear more torture. She left the home. Now there was no one to look after the boy. Guddu learnt household chores, including cooking.

One day he came back from the school with an expensive bicycle. The act raises suspicion of neighbours. The multi-gear bicycle had an elegant blue colour. Its broad tires left a mark on the path it crosses. The boy became possessive of the bicycle. He spent hours cleaning the cycle and oiling it. The boy was an ingenious one. By collecting some money from his uncle, Guddu himself decorated the bicycle with lights and playful horns.

Guddu was spending most of the day cycling. Guddu's bicycle was an attraction for other boys of the locality. When the elders confronted Guddu about the source of the bicycle, the boy said that he bought it from a classmate with seven hundred rupees. The actual cost of the cycle was no less than five thousand rupees.

The next puzzle was the source of those seven hundred rupees. Guddu claimed that he got the money by selling kites. Almost no one was satisfied with his explanation.

A few weeks passed without much happening. One evening a stranger arrived and strated making an inquiry about a boy who may have stolen a bicycle. Unfortunate to Guddu, one CCTV footage captures him riding the bicycle. The stranger claimed that this bicycle belongs to his boy and was stolen from the school campus.

Another revelation shocked everyone. In total Guddu stole three bicycles. Guddu kept one with himself and sold the other two in exchange for a few hundred rupees to boys of his age. In no time, everyone in the locality came to know about Guddu's deed.

Later it came to light that Guddu developed some trick to open the locks of the cycles. The story reached school. The headmaster was a kind-hearted gentleman; he counselled Guddu for a good one hour and relived him with a warning. The boy remained passive for a few days before getting involved in another scandalous episode.
