Once upon a time there was a poor farmer.          He  lived in extreme poverty.  He has a small family consisting of a wife and two children.  There is no food to feed the hungry children.  He goes to the field every morning without eating anything.  One day when he was leaving home to go to the field for his work, he heard his children crying. 'What happened? Why are they crying? he asked. She said, 'they are crying because of hunger'. 'Give them food', he said. She said,'there is no food in this house'. Then how can I give them food? she asked. The farmer became very sad.  His wife was also very sad.  The whole family is in famine.  With that  great difficulty he went into the field for his work.  The farmer was wearing a torn shirt and gray trousers with a pair of torn shoes. Even  he did not even have the money to buy a new one. On his he way keep thinking about his situation. He did not know what to do.He was in a dilemma. When reached there  he took off his shoes before going to work. At noon.The farmer was very tired.  Can't stand hunger and thirst. Even though he his hungry he has nothing to eat.  He drank some water from a nearby pipe to  calm down his thirst.  He sat on a tree stump to rest for a while.  He said to himself, 'If I don't receive enough wages today, me  and my family  will still be hungry.' Then he said, "Today he needs to buy something for his children or else they will starve to death. God! What should I do? Please help me" There was a goddess sitting above in that tree  hearing all this.  The farmer did not know it.  The goddess felt sad about his condition.  She decided to help the farmer.  For that she put two Golden Nuggets in the shoes he had taken off.Exhausted farmer,got up from there and resumed work. He was not aware about any of these things .  After work, he went to get wages.  He came to put on his shoes to go back to the market to buy goods. Then he saw something shining in the shoes.  When he looked, there were two gold nuggets. He thought;Here's how it came to be? The goddess appeared as he tried to dispel the thought that it might belong to someone.  Then she said, "It is yours, I heard everything you said. It is a gift I will give you. Go home happily". So he thanked the goddess and went happily to the market. On the way he saw a  mother and child standing in front of the market.He asked why are you standing here? The mother said they were hungry and they were standing here to buy some food from someone. And they said they don't have the money to buy the food. When he heard it, he felt sad and he remembered about his family. He decided to help them. He gave the golden bars to them. They were so happy and thanked him. She went to buy the food for them. Then he thought What else will he buy for his children? They were so hungry.He thought,'what will he do? Suddenly The goddess reappeared. She saw everything.The goddess said 'you did a great thing, you are indeed a good person. You would have taken two gold nuggets  without helping them but still you decided to  help them by forgetting your condition'. She then praised and congratulated him for the good deed he had done. And  decided to reward him. She gave him four gold nuggets as a gift. The farmer thanked the goddess again. The farmer bid goodbye to the goddess and went away.He was so happy. Then he bought food  and goods from the market and he went back home happily. When he reached home,  his wife and children were surprised and asked how he bought the food. He narrated the story that happened during his work. They were astonished and happy. All of them thanked God and the goddess. The five of them happily sat down together and ate the food. All of them went to sleep happily.
