Yesterday I went to my office. Actually they had call us twice a week, but what days we want to go, that's totally up to us. I reached there around 12:00, after 1 and a half hours travelling, fully irritated by rain, it's not had planned to stop (in basic manner, I hate rain).
So, somehow I reached in the office on time, went inside the ODC just to see that no-one had come, not from my team neither from other teams. Whole ODC was empty 😑.

But it's not completely empty, there are 2 human beings standing in the corner, working on one laptop. The girl was from HR team and a guy was from Data privacy team (I found out that latter). I only thought that time, thank God! Atleast someone is there. The girl was helping him with the initial settings with internet access. Once she was done with him, she turned around towards me, and asked, if it's my first day?

           I reply to her saying 'Yes' and that lovely girl offered me help. But my smartass said, 'No thanks, I am good.' before connecting my laptop to the LAN. So she went somewhere, outside the ODC. 
And then I, 'the idiot' with IT degree tried connecting my laptop with LAN and totally failed with internet access settings without IP. 
So, I took the first option, run right after to find that girl, but she already went outside the ODC. So, my next best option was talk to that guy.😒

           I went to his desk, and started with, "Hey, do you know where that girl went, who helped you right now? (Yep, i am no-nonsense, straight to the point person 😅)  And what's her name Rashmi or Reshma." He politely replyed, “oh, she went to other ODC to help someone else, she'll come back after an half hour or so." And I was like, "I don't have a half hour, I have a meeting in half hour you stupid fella" (ofcourse in my mind🙄). But then I asked, "can ‘you’ help me." And he said he don't know the IP for my LAN connection so, he can't 🙄. 

          I returned to my desk, trying to connect laptop with my mobile hotspot, but fortunately Reshma came back in time and that guy send her straight to my table. Then that amazing girl done all the things and I was able to attend my scrum call... But story not ending here... Remember I mentioned 'guy' in this thing😜 

So, after l got done with my scrum, I noticed someone standing behind me. It was that same guy. He came to ask me about the issue he was facing while starting with one of our application. I told him, how it's done. So, he thanked me, but he didn't leave, He sat on the desktop, right beside me. And started talking. I was amused, cause in empty ODC, I can really appreciate the company. And that was the whole point right... For going to the office. I started, talking with him respectively. Like reffring "Tumhi/ Aap" and all…

And he said, 'hey, I am not that old, you can call me Sushant.' (So, this fabulous guy has a name… sushant😁) and I reply, "oh Mr. Shushant, it's just the starting. We just met. So, I'll be showing you how ‘Sansakari’ I am.  I'll come to "abe jaa be" mode, on very soon. He laughed totally matching my energy. And then he spent his all time at my desk talking, until he leave at 6 pm. We talked about many things. He gave me amazing tricks and hacks about my career. He might have 4-5 years of experience in this field. I really enjoyed his company.

Then when he leave, he said that, 'tomorrow, he'll having 2-11 shift, so we can talk more'. He waited to say  'goodbye' to me, for 30 minutes, cause I was on the call with colleague. He leave on a note that will continue tomorrow again.... but due to the rain, I am not going office today 😅... So maybe will meet next week… and maybe we start a good friendship out of this… 😜
