Everything starts with Friendship, then friendship moves to the Liking. Like converts into Love. That's why I love this thing called friendship. Simple with no responsibility and bonds, but yet can be beginning of something so complicated know as love. I simply love this concept of friendship. Are you in a love with friendship ?…. Not sure about everyone else but I know a girl who is had this feelings.
Rohit and Asmi was a childhood friends. So by default they had a special bond with eachother. They always meet at the garden and shared problems, family troubles with eachother. Judge passers together and had lots of fun. They talk about their amazing dreams and futures.
That day also they met at the same garden… Asmi was early. Her father got transferred to another branch from another city. So they gonna shift tomorrow. After that it gonna be deficult for them to meet like always. Her family gonna leave early tomorrow so she can't meet Rohit tomorrow to say ‘bye’. She didn't even told about her moving as she had known idea, how to start as, it might make Rohit sad. She thought to meet him today and say ‘Goodbies’ . 20 min had passed and Rohit was nowhere to found. She got very bored and irritated. She think, she'll course him first as soon as he comes. But as he came and asked her, “did she waited for long ?” And smiled. She just forgot all her radge and said, “No! Just arrived.” She was confused with her own reaction…
Asmi was finding words to say Rohit ‘Bye’ as she will leave tomorrow from society they lived. So, the first 2 minutes gonna into silence. Then Rohit started saying, “As you know I am single from last 2 months. I am bored to death. Atleast introduce me to one of your girl friends. Isn't it your duty as my closest friend!”
As for saying about Rohit- He is a nice guy. Coming from a well settled family and having a good looks. He counted as a Playboy by default. He changes his girlfriend like every after 3 months. He always reasons it saying “it's always get predictable after certain time passes. All girls act and feel very same after some time. So it's get boring to stay with them. He wants surprises, uncertainty…”
Asmi always use to roll her eyes 🙄 whenever she heard this kind of nonsense from Rohit.
As for curiosity, Asmi asked, “So what about me ? We had known each other from long time. We almost know everything about each other. Didn't I made you bored yet ? ” Rohit looked at her he looked bit serious. He said, “Nope, you still sometimes make me surprise. Like see this, I am might be one of your closest friend, but still I am the last person who get to know about your moving to another city from our neighbours and not from you. I will be the last person who get to know at the end. It's funny and surprising isn't it!” She can see a little anger and dispointment in his eyes. She was blank. She wanted to explain but she didn't know how ?… He might have understand her struggle and said, “Hey don't worry! I am not angry. I am relieved actually, Now I don't have to spend my 2 hours once a week with you anymore. I can give more time to my girlfriend. I don't have to worry about how you doing! anymore 😅. So, it's like I am relised from one of my headaches. And I know you also got bored from hearing all about my problems And spending time with me. But you can atleast say goodbye to me before you leave. As a childhood friend, didn't I deserve atleast that?”
After hearing him Asmi stand up and stretched her hand for a handshake and said, “okay my friend, Goodbye! I am not gonna see you again, even if I can… Yes, our friendship, it was something we both pretend to have happily but in truth carried it as a duty. So congratulations as we both relised from it…” Tears rolled down on her face as she said this words. Rohit smirked and grabbed her hand. He hugged her and said, “See, I know if i tease you a little you'll start crying. You are as typical as others I guess.”
Asmi saw into his eyes. And put her hand on his chest. She closed her eyes and kissed him. This sudden kiss startled him. She can feeling his raising heardbeats. She broke the kiss. And he sat down at the park bench as he loses his balance. Asmi again looked directly into his eyes and said, “it officially Goodbye now to our friendship…” and walked away from Rohit…
Rohit set there in a shock state. He wanted to go and follow her ask her “what is this all mean?” But he just to surprised. He Somehow manage to get him alltogether and immediately send a message to Asmi - “Hey, I love you too.” After seeing confirmation about “message received” in his notifications. He smiled at himself, touched his lips and said, “Yes, you are unique. Unpredictable…”
