She was furious and morely confused, “How can he just forget her Name? Is that even possible to forget someone's name who you consider as your first love?” She remembered the memories of 3-4 years back, when they were in Drama group together.

               In Drama group, they used to do verious activities. One of them was book reading. ‘Sitting under that blue sky filled with verious versions of white clouds and reading a book which will open a new portal for you of a different world.’ Imagine that. That was something heavenly time, she spended in a drama group. 

One of in those days she noticed shubham, sitting in a corner alone. Don't know what made her to go and seat beside him. Maybe she thought he was lonely and needing some company but unable to approach, kind of guy. So, basically that was the petty who made her go and start everything. 

               She introduced herself to him, they discussed about what book are they reading and that's how they start that friendship. So, after that whenever she see him alone, she go and pull him in a crowd and tease him. She started to show a fake crush and love interest towards him, so she can bully him (of course in a good way). Like she go and disturb him, in his work and talk like lovestruck idiot in front of everyone just to get that shy, irritated look on his face.        Just like that, one time they were sitting side by side reading books. The sky was filled with light blue colour and sponge like clouds are perfect arranged. A March  warmth was filled in the air. And Shivani was drawned deep in her fantacy story book. 

With breaking that silence shubham said, “ Shivani, I like you.” Shivani doesn't understand it quickly, she thought she heard something else so, she replied, “ofcourse, I like you too. You are a good person” He said, “Not like that, l mean ‘I love you’. Will- will you be my girlfriend?" 

         Now shivani totally got out from her world. She thought as she used to tease him. He might be taking revenge for that, it might be something like a joke. She wanted to be all this joke, couse she only think him as a friend, nothing more. So, she said, “Man! You really got me. For a second, I thought you proposing me or something. Dude, sorry I won't tease you anymore 😅” 

You can totally see dispointment in his eyes. He said, “ it not a joke. If you want you can take your time to think. You don't have to answer me immediately. But this are my true feelings i am confessing to you.”  she felt bad as she knew her joke gone to far. And her actions gonna hurt someone inocent like him. So she replied, “Hey, I respect your feelings, but I really not feel about you like that. And I am truly sorry, if I have gave you signs that made you misunderstood the whole joke thing. But I can't accept your feelings.”

             He put his neck down, flipping through the book he was holding upside down. And mumbled, 'If i really know that, there is a truth in the old saying, "failure is the First step towards the success, I might have tryed to get rejected from 100's of girls before asking you. Atleast 101st time I had a little chance to get succesied…"' and he just stand up and walked away. After that he mostly tried to avoid shivani and she can't blame him for that.

And after clearly hearing that, it was difficult for Shivani too. To act like nothing happened. So, as fast as they got close, they seprate their ways and forgot that day from their lives.

          But still shivani has a valid point. How can you forget the name of the person you claimed to be your first love… ! She was going to ask shubham that but, vishakha has joined them with her bag now.

After all that guilt and humiliation, shivani didn't feel like having their company anymore. So, she said to Vishakha, “Hey, you know what, you two love birds can go ahead. I have to wait for my friend, some more time here.” They accepted it and vishakha said bye to her, promising ‘will try to meet again once.’ 

           Shivani was looking at their backs as they both walking together towards the main gate. At the exact entrance she noticed, Vishakha walked forward towards the bus stop but Shubham stand right there at the gate…

Before She think about anything, her phone rang, it was unknown number, her eyes were glued to the back of shubham and she picked the call, “Hello Shivani, I am sorry, I lied to you. It's still difficult to talk to you, while you are in front of me. I still loose my confidence. I am sorry I lied that I forgot your name, how could I? When I am not even able to move on from a feelings I had for you. Somewhere I still want you. I love Vishakha, she is great girl. But I still can't fully love her because this constant guilt I have. I wanted to forget everything and have atleast a normal friendship with you. But I am still not sure if you accept that or not. I didn't tell you that before, couse I still can't get myself to look straight at you and say anything.” 

              Shivani smiled, she said, “ Ofcourse we can be friends. We doesn't have to hang on a lost feelings, we had in a past. Ofcourse we can start new…. So, If we meet again next time, will meet as a normal friends. Talk lots of things we enjoyed together. Promise?” He said, “Yes. Thank you.” they cut the call as he turned back and waved good bye to her, Until next time….
