Hello everyone, today I'm going to share with you a renowned Tamil film called Ponniyin Selvan. The film was released in the middle of 2022. It was conceived by Manirathnam, a prominent Tamil film director. A.R. Rahman, on the other side, composed the music for this film. As a result, the general audience has received a visual and acoustic treat. 

This time, the entire Tamilnadu population was waiting for a blockbuster hit movie from the Tamil film industry. Because during this time period, our sibling states were granted several pan-India films. Consider the KGF-2 and RRR films. We were now looking forward to a wonderful movie. This film has met the expectations of the Tamil audience. 

The premise for the film was adapted from the classic Tamil novel "Ponniyin Selvan" by the late writer Kalki, which was published in approximately 1960. Because it was a popular novel in south India, many notable actors attempted to adapt it into a film. However, it was only this year, over three generations later, that it was possible. 

This film is narrated by one of South India's most famous kings, "Rajaraja Cholan," who erected Tanjore's iconic "Big Temple." The plot of the film is that Chola's elder brother "Adithya Karikalan" slew his opponent monarch "Pandian." As a result, the enemy assassinated Karikalan and plotted to take over the entire Chola administration. Rajaraja Cholan, the hero, exacted revenge on his adversaries while also protecting his realm management. 

Because notable technicians collaborated on this film, every component was fantastic, including the dance, costumes, lighting, editing, camera, and so on. I was very impressed by the costumes in this film, which I had never seen before in Tamil cinema. They appeared to be real. Furthermore, actual gold jewels were used in this film for the queen and princess. The cameraman used the shaking technique in this film, and while some people disliked it, I really appreciated it. The CG transported us to the ancient age, and I frequently see that grey effect overlay on the screen. The choreographer tried a drama sort of dance, which was unusual. As a result, it produced positive results.

AR has done outstanding work in the field of music. This single person has played a significant role in contrast to what we saw on the screen, such as language, dance, clothing, and so on. With his musical instruments, he has touched every screen in this film. I see this film as a magnificent statue that AR breathed life into by transforming it into a real human with his music.
