1.QWERTY KEYBOARD WAS DESIGNED TO SLOW DOWN THE TYPING SPEED
People take pride in the speed at which they type on a typewriter or keyboard. Fast and accurate writing skills are also a competitive advantage for some jobs. But did you know that the current QWERTY keyboard layout is the result of a solution that allows you to slow down your typing speed?
Early versions of typewriters made in the 1870s encountered some technical problems. Metal weapons that contain letters collide and jam if the keys are pressed in rapid succession or if the typist presses adjacent keys at the same time.
To avoid the problem and experience better typing, Christopher Latham Schulz made various design changes to the keyboard layout. The current QWERTY keyboard layout is ultimately e. It was designed by Remington & Sons which solved the problem of jam sticks.
2.The first computer mouse was called the X-Y position indicator of the display system
The world's first computer mouse was invented in the 1960s at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI). The device was called "For X-Y position display". Douglas Engelbert and Bill English are credited with inventing the mouse. The story of the Xerox APAC discovery of the mouse is a legend. Engelbart first demonstrated the mouse in 1968 with the Xerox Alto computer. I called the demo "The Mother of All Demos".
The name "mouse" was coined for this device because the cable coming out of Engelbart is reminiscent of the tail of a rodent
Did you know that if you smoke nearby, your Apple product may be out of warranty? Apple has a policy to protect its technicians from toxic work environments. Tobacco tar deposited in the system is harmful. Therefore, Apple may refuse to service your product, even if it is under warranty, if it believes the product has been exposed to tobacco smoke.
No guarantee clause was written in the product documentation. However, there are instances when the company has refused to honor the warranty on a product exposed to smoke.
