In August 16, 1947, NS Ponkumar, a first-time director, wants you to think deeply and emotionally. The outstanding baseline he has gives him confidence in how his screenplay's emotional beats captivate you and move you. The news of India's independence from the colonial government may have taken some time to get to every nook and cranny of such a large country in 1947, when communication wasn't as advanced and you couldn't make movies on TikTok. This is what happened on August 14 to Sengadu, a village in Southern Tamil Nadu sandwiched between powerful mountains and snarling woods. The peasants are kept like slaves by British General Robert Clive and are recognised for their high-quality cotton harvest, which is produced by hand. This enormous creature is reportedly one of the officers who suggested to General Dyre that he slaughter thousands of people at Jallianwala Bagh. As a result, he was assigned to Sengadu as a punishment. Essentially, Sengadu is his land of slaves, and he is an animal who thrives on terror and flesh.

You get whipped when you stop to take a glass of water. Wish to go potty? The whip has spikes, so keep that in mind. If you damage yourself at work, Robert will give you additional agony as treatment; for better or worse, he may also shoot you quickly. The villagers must hide their girls or murder them in order to stop Robert's perverted son Justin (Jason Shah) from touching them, which only makes the situation worse. He even uses the statue of the villagers' deity for sexual gratification, making him just as evil as his father. The day before independence, the British make numerous attempts to call Robert to a high-level conference and alert him of the news, but they are unsuccessful since the lone phone in his estate is being fixed. A tiger kills the men who were in charge of physically delivering the message. Yet even if the word does get to Robert, as we finally find, it is useless since the man wants his "slaves" to carry with them a fear of the British. What's Good: In addition to the fictional people in the movie gaining independence, you feel liberated as you get out of the Audi.
What's Bad: Everything, excluding the movie's core notion, which could have been the beginning of it all.

Even if you watch this movie on your bathroom break, it will still be terrible.

Watch or Not? : Only if you're getting paid to see bad movies! Wait, what?

The imaginary community of Singaad, located in Madras right before the nation gained independence, is ignorant that British citizens are emigrating. A small number of residents in the town serve as Major Robert's slaves.
