During the reign of Emperor Claudius in Rome, a man named was the bishop of the Catholic Church. The emperor felt that after marriage, men only thought of family and did not show any valor in battle. So the emperor banned marriage in Rome. But Bishop Valentine realized that they loved each other and began to conduct their marriage in secret. Emperor Claudius found out and imprisoned Valentine. Bishop e falls in love with the jailer's blind daughter. Because of the bishop's love and faith, the girl later received her sight. When the emperor found out about it, he ordered  head to be cut off. Before taking her to be beheaded, left a note to the girl that read, "From Your " After that, Day started to be celebrated on February 14 in memory of Bishop Valeee
