       Hello friends,

                How are you? I hope all you are well by the grace of God. Today I will tell you some best places in Maharashtra ( Mumbai and Pune) which are popular among tourists.

 Maharashtra is one of important state in India. Maharashtra has 36 districts divided into 6 administrative divisions. Maharashtra is famous for so many things and financial capital of India. Tourism is one the field which contributes to Maharashtra's economy.

        Maharashtra has so many tourist attractions which includes historical monuments, forts, waterfalls, temples and beaches. Medical tourism is any key factor which affects Maharashtra's tourism. Some of the best and popular tourist places in Maharashtra are as follows:

     1. Mumbai (Tourist places) :

  Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra and financial capital of India. Mumbai has great importance in history of Maharashtra as well as India.

         Mumbai has several tourist attractions such as Siddhivinayak temple, hotel Taj, Kamal Nehru park, Wankhede stadium, Shivaji park  and some buildings built in British era. The building of Mumbai municipal corporation and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) are famous tourist attractions. CSMT is declared as UNESCO'S world heritage site in 2004. Haji Ali Dargah  and Gateway of India are popular among tourists.

         Mumbai has various beaches like Juhu,  Dadar, Versowa and other. Marine drive beach is most popular beach and crowded with tourists in the evening. Sanjay Gandhi national park is another famous tourist attractions. Matheran is famous hill station near Mumbai which is famous for its toy-train.

    Mumbai is also famous for its Khau-galli. Mumbai's Vadapav is famous all over the world.

2. Pune :

         Pune has several tourist attractions which includes forts, hill stations and historical places.

     Pune is cultural city and also known as ‘Vidyeche Maherghar’ because of its educational importance. Shaniwar wada, Tulshi bag, Dagdusheth Ganapati temple and others.

         Shivneri fort( Birth place of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj), Rajgad, Torna, Purandar and Rajmachi are some the famous forts in Pune.

          Lonavala and Khandala are popular hill stations near Pune which are crowded with tourists. Here one can enjoy pristine and wonderful nature especially in Monsoon the area is covered with greenery and gives happiness to our eyes.

         The ghat areas in Pune are one of the best places to visit especially in Monsoon season. The Dagdusheth Ganapati temple is famous among the people. So these are the top places in Maharashtra.
