This is a major problem which we are facing in the current situation. We being the citizens of India, we have huge responsibility on us. We have to be aware of what happens when we prank call emergency numbers and how hard it is to the workers who believe that the prank call was true. We have to be responsible, we have to engage in bringing awareness among the people who thinks all these as fun.

During the current pandemic situation it's been a very hectic and stressful period for all of us. We have come across the incidents such as when a person is bored instead of pranking his friends and taking fun, he has dialled emergency numbers and created a lot of messy situations.

If you do such prank calls to emergency numbers you may also be prosecuted for doing such nonsense. So be carefull and aware while even thinking of doing such things. These are not to be taken for granted start being a responsible citizen. Stop calling emergency numbers for fun.

I would like to share a childhood comic incident of my life. There was a huge craze about power rangers during those times. I was around 7 years old at that time and had no idea about emergency helplines or numbers. I had cousin brother who was very mischievous, he suddenly showed up to me and asked, “Would you like to talk to Power Rangers"? I felt extremely excited and said, “yes”. We already know that emergency numbers are toll free, anyone and everyone can dial to it. He dialled the number “100” and gave the phone to me as I was very excited but scared I said, “hello” and hung up the phone as soon as I heard a strong base voice. But we didn't stop for once we kept on dialling the number and hung up after they said hello. This was huge fun for us but we never knew the consequences of dialling and pranking. My aunt came and immediately grabbed the phone and saw the dial list she got angry but she explained us about the consequences and advised us not to do so. I then realised how important it is to be a responsible citizen.

It can be a huge problem to us as well as the workers. Hence, if we feel like pranking someone let's call our cousins or friends and have fun. But never trouble anyone by dialling the emergency numbers and put yourself in trouble.
