Hello all!!! Hope my fellow bloggers were good and well. In this blog I'm going to share a recipe. Let's begin the blog.
Most of the world's population are non vegetarian and that too majority of people are fond of chicken. Here's the recipe.
Recipe
Ingredients : chicken - 1kg, 3- big onions, 2- tomatoes, 3-green chilli, 1 cup curd, ½ cup ginger garlic paste, salt, ½ cup oil, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp pepper powder, 1½ tsp chilli powder, curry leaves and corriander leaves.
Making of Chicken gravy :
Wash the chicken and add curd, turmeric powder, pepper powder, chilli powder and left it for atleast 30 minutes.
Then chop the onions, tomatoes, chillies and make it ready.
Now take a pan and add oil and don't over heat oil it's unhealthy.
Mildly heat the oil and then add green chillies and add chopped onions and fry it till it becomes golden brown colour.
Then add curry leaves and also add chopped tomatoes to it and satute it for atleast 6-7 mins.
Add little salt to it and mix it evenly. And add ginger garlic paste and leave it closed for five minutes.
After this you can add the chicken mixed with curd, turmeric powder, pepper powder and chilli powder.
After putting chicken into it close the pan with a lid and allow the chicken to cook for 10mins at medium - high flame.
After ten minutes you can taste the gravy for salt and you can add salt according to your need. But I suggest half salt only.
Finally, add corriander leaves for garnishing. And it's ready to serve.
Nutritional Facts about chicken :
Raw, skinless chicken have approximately 120kcal, 20-25 gms of proteins and 2 gms fat.
And also contains 6-9 amino acids in it which is helpful for preventing of free radicals.
I used to suggest chicken not only for taste because it contains high protein which builds muscle faster. So, it's good choice for wound healing.
And there's no big difference between broilers and country Chicken. So buy both and you can eat both chicken's any it's eggs. There is no harm in that.
And best combination of chicken gravy is plain white rice, roti, parotta, idli, dosa etc..,
