How To Get Rid Of Bad Habits?

People make and quit many habits during their lifespan. Doing something regularly can easily make you get addicted to it. Because doing something that you love releases dopamine (a hormone) in your brain which is also known as "feel-good hormone". For that bliss feeling your mind and body start convincing you to do that again and again. Perhaps these habits can be good for you but most of the time we get addicted to bad habits. Bad habits are like putting chewing gum on one's hair. It sticks very quickly but not so easy to remove. It can be anything like overeating, excessive use of mobile and computers, drinking, smoking, or any other bad habit. There are a lot of rehabilitation centers but don't work for all and for good. And medicine can work for some people, but after some time they find themselves doing that thing again. Well, No one is indeed perfect, but we can be better if we try. If you come to this blog you definitely want to quit something. I had many bad habits in the past years and today I'm going to tell you how I quit them. I still have some bad habits and I'm working on them. You know that if you want to kill a living being just don't give it food. And that is the way to kill your bad habits "just don't feed your demons if you want to kill them" I know it is quite difficult. It takes some time as it took when you got addicted to it. Now the question is how to do that? Once a legend said, "urges knocked on my door, but I was not home." That means when you feel urges to that again just make yourself busy. Don't stay free and alone. Make yourself engaged in some activities the whole day.Don't lose hope and be patient and after some time, you will see changes in yourself your body won't need all those things again and you will no longer be under the control of anything. But things do not end up here, you still need to take care of yourself and beware. Just avoid that company or people from where you got that addition. Do some physical activities like a workout, yoga, dancing, or any other sports. Wish you all a healthy life.
