Difference of opinion is when two people have different thoughts on the same topic. Is it right to say that the other person's opinion is wrong just because it doesn't matches with your opinion?
Ask me, and I would say it is not right. Let me state an easy example. When two people like different fruit juices it's their choice, and not right or wrong. Similarly when two people have different opinions it's their thought and not right or wrong.
One of my friends who came from a middle class family had a lot of dreams like every other girl. She grew up thinking about a lot of things that she would like to have in her life(family, career, relationships, marriage etc.) She told me a few days back that her parents want her to marry a boy of their choice whereas she being an emotional, sensitive girl wanted to marry somebody who she at least knows so that she doesn't have issues adjusting after marriage.
She never dated anyone because she thought her parents would not allow that marriage. When her parents started showing her boys, she didn't knew how she would adjust with somebody who she doesn't know at all. And guys, in few middle class families, boys and girls are asked to take quick decision on whether they like the person shown by their parents or not. So, my friend who wasn't very happy didn't knew what to do. In all this hustle, one of her friends who wanted to marry her gave her the proposal and she thought that she can marry her friend as she knows everything about him. Also, parents would agree as he was of same caste and earned well(parent's criteria to judge a boy). But little she knew that just by telling about this guy would create so much chaos in her life. Her mother is not talking to her. Her father is very unhappy that she chose anybody.
This is the present scenario at her house. Her opinion is not being liked by anyone. I wish her parents listen to her, understands her point and take a wise decision. Just because she has a different viewpoint on marriage doesn't mean she is wrong.
