Change The Myth About Motivation

Everyone says about inspiring things, while seeing and hearing about others are we really improving or is that just an illusion which is the best trick of mind ?

Let's dwell into two real life events-

  1. “Indian Engineer earns rupees 22 lakhs per month in Japan”- this news said a story of a bright girl from a poor Indian city  who through a lots of hardship and plenty of discouragement from her family members including her father and mother emerged to be one of the top paid electronics engineer at an young age itself.
  2. An Indian woman bought up by the stereotype that men are meant to be more intelligent than women. She was always been seen less efficient than her elder brother and she bid by this fact and lived. Until one day she met with an accident and forgot everything including the stereotype which she believed in. She studied about her disease and published a journal about it. This shocked everyone including her parents. She showed them that the potential was within her.

Both the cases teaches a lesson everyone has a different journey either accept what is said to us or prove them they are wrong. Motivation can be taken as a temporary pain killer the real change should come from within. Someone had once said - ‘motivation is like streetlight, when one sees light he/she will be delighted and when the light fades away the delighted face vanishes and again next light comes he/she will be delighted and this goes by’. Similarly when one sees a motivational video he/she will be motivated or inspired and when its effect fades they will be back to the upset mode😢.

Everyone is unique. Don't compare yourself with others everyone have different situations and different backgrounds. Life is not easy, if we have a dream God will test you to know how much important is your dream to you. The one who holds on to their dreams are truly gonna make it no matter what.

When life becomes hopeless talk to people and open up with close ones they can always bring a smile on your face which will boost you to move forward rather than hearing and peeping into others achievements in the so called name of motivation. An IAS topper once said “she doesn't know any of the toppers” this shows that she had a dream and she did it rather than mimicking others. If we want to achieve something try to understand oneself, know yourself and this will pave way for building oneself. Stop following and mimicking, Start to build yourself since you are different as an individual😊.
