What If A Dream Makes You Dream?

At daybreak,I got up from my bed thinking about the dream I had a few minutes before. I tried very hard to remember it even though some parts of the dream reminded in the far corner of my mind. It was not an easy job to find the connection between these “parts of a dream”. Someone once said,"Early dreams will come true". But I had never encountered anything like that what I saw in a dream.

May be it's because I can't remember most of the dreams. Well I can say that the majority of my dreams involved being chased by some mystic monsters and falling head first into some valley. I think about three times I have been in haunted houses in my dreams. Today's dream felt like that and after hours of ‘searching for connections’,I was able to share this dream with someone else. Not that it makes sense, although it was a good feeling.

As I opened my eyes,I was standing in what looked like a palace. I looked around to get a better view and no sooner understood that I was in an auditorium as if it was the marriage of a princess. I stood there wondering where the bride and groom would be. I felt a small strain in my left hand as someone gave me a hearty tug. Before I could make make out who it was, I was being dragged towards a group of middle aged people. The woman who kept my hand suddenly looked at me as if she wanted to change the confused expression on my face. That's the moment I saw her face and quickly understood that it was my mother's!!

She was trying to introduce me to the group. I looked at each of their faces with a rather strained smile. I could hear the crumbling of the crowd. The hall was lit with yellow lights, and the pillars and the ceilings were bedecked with gold and white curtains.

My mother was dragging me again, and I found myself infront of an old lady . She was wearing a faded old saree. Her appearance was that of a seventy year old woman still very healthy. My mother was having a conversation with her. The old woman was my relative- I learnt from my mother shortly after we came out of sight of her.

My father beckoned us towards a rather large looking hall with chalk-white walls filled with people sitting behind long tables with red tablecloths. Obviously,I was in an enormous dining hall. Silvery white plates were full of meals. I can't vividly remember the details of the meal,as it was a dream and there limitations in describing it up to every detail. I walked along the narrow space between the tables and saw a similar face. It was Ashna ,who was my classmate at school.

She was wearing a sandal- colored  churidar . She smiled at me,and I did the same and strode quickly past her. I walked along a long way and found stairs spiralling to the top. I tried to get myself into the steps and I realised that there were no hand rails except a single steel rod, which is not adequate for preventing someone from falling down. Furthermore,I tried to look down through the small opening between the steps and I felt like my stomach turned upside down. I stood frozen on the steps. I was standing at a height of about fifty feet. I fell back and made up my mind that I couldn't do this. Then I saw a small boy climbing the stairs with ease. He was sniggering at my cowardice. I took a deep breath and continued climbing without glancing downwards. I made it to the top. Ther I saw my neighbour,Alen ,with his father .I suppose they didn't see me . I moved further and my jaw dropped! The sight was awesome as it resembled a water park. Bright blue and red coloured roller coaster rails were touching the skies! There was a large pool where children engaged in playing and long yellow slides slanted into the water in the pool, which reflected the clear blue sky. I walked around it for sometime.

The next moment I was standing in a narrow street and some strange worries stuck me there. I just tried to come out that dream ,but I couldn't be able to move . The immense  Pleasure of anxiety ended there and now it's something serious.I prayed for an another sleep in the dream which was little funny. Street dogs are wandering! Suddenly I saw two children ,one is sitting there and the next moment was hilarious!!! ‘A dog feeding a human baby’…..

What happened to that child? It is the dream that make you dream… wait for the second part.
