Imagine we're just going to the graveyard now. There, the tombstone will tell you the person's name, date of birth, script, and time of death. Wouldn't it be interesting to see the DASH summarizing the entire life from birth to death? What are we actually doing with our dash because that's about how quick it'll feel like it went by when you're 70 or 80 years old. Don't reach to that point in life and regret that you just wasted your whole life.
Since that dash is really our life, what we do with the dash in our stone is really important. Life happens very quickly but know that God does wonderful things through us. Isn't it surprising that some people do so much in their lives? And others do almost nothing in their lives. We can't blame our situation. We need to get up and start our lives with the purpose that God wants us to live. For just a few moments in your life, you want to spend some time doing that. Know God, The Almighty. That's what life is all about. Life is not primarily about making money. It's not about having a good home first. The most important thing is your relationship with the Lord.
When you reach your end, if you can look back on life and realize, it is the life you have wanted and it is the life you have lived, how fulfilled your journey will be. Looking back, what if you regret a lot? There's nothing you could do in that point. So knew God in your lifetime. You need God in your life. Jesus is the son of God and the truth, and it is by following him that we shall discover the true meaning and purpose of life. He is coming soon. Live wisely. Since we are getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, don't think that this is our real home. You wouldn't want to spend the day on the deathbed and think for yourself, I'm not ready, I don't know the Lord, I don't know the Bible, I have no God's promise in my heart. You don't want to go to that point. We should prepare for the day we die. Above all, your personal relationship with Jesus is what actually matters.
Live your DASH wisely.
