Babur (1483 - 1530)

Babur was the founder of Mughal empire. he  was the fifth descendant of Timur on father's side and fourteenth descendent of Changiz khan on the mother side. Babur was born in Andijan (Farghana valley) in Turkey (modern day uzbakistan, central Asia ) on 14 feb. 1483 as the son of umar shaikh Mirza and Nigarkhanum. He was the  eldest son of his father governor of Farghana and great grandson of Timur the Great. In early age the ruled over central asia like farghana samarquand  and kabul he capture kabul in 1504 then he attack India 5 time for wants of wealth. The first attack on India in 1519 and Bhera  (Punjab) was the 1st place to be capture by babur .

                                    BATTLES (1526 - 1530)

  1. 1526 = Battle of Panipath (Rajasthan)
  2. 1527 = Battle of Khanwa (Rajasthan)
  3. 1528 = Battle of Chanderi (M.P)
  4. 1529 = Battle of Ghaghra 

In 1524 Daulat khan lodi Invite babur to india in order to defeat Ibrahim lodi in the first battle of Panipat and with his great defeat the region Delhi sultan were finished and mughal empire was established in India. On 16th march 1527 he defeat Rana sangha of Mewar in the battle of Khanwa this was the 1st battle between Rajput and mughals.On the Rajput  in 1528 under Maedini Rai of Malwa faught against babur in Battle of Chandari. In 1529 the Afghan under Muhammad Lodi faught against Babur in Battle of Ghaghra but were defeated and in 1530 december 26 babur die. Babur was the first to use the modern Artillary and gun Powder in india it was European technique. His memoris or autobiography ‘Tuzuk-i-babari’ or baburnama was written in Turkish language. babur Mother tongue it gives an Excellent account of India in his Administration. It was translated in Persian Language by Abdul Rahim Khanekhana and was name as Baburnama. ‘Book of Babur’ or ‘Letter of Babur’ English translation by Madam Beuridge. Babur compiled two anthologies of poem.

  1. Diwan (In Turkish languages)
  2. Mubaiyan (In persian language)

  He also wrote ‘Risal-i-usaz’ or  Latter of Babur in the year 1527 Babur built Kabuli Masjid (Mosque in Panipat) after his history in first battle of Panipat. 1528 - 1529 construction of Babri Masjid   (Babur mosque) in faizabad District  of UP (Birth place of lord Ram in Ayodhya . It was said to be constructed by Mir Baqy one of the commander of babur .
