Who is M. Laxmikanth ?

M.Laxmikanth is an author, trainer and he also is the former founder of Laxmikanth's IAS Academy in Hyderabad. He obtained his Masters In Political Science from Osmania University in the year 1989. Apart from Indian Polity he also wrote books on Governance and on same related topics. This detail can be found on this book.

Indian Political section holds very important in UPSC Pre and Mains paper. One need to qualify Pre-Examination to qualify for further Mains paper. In Pre-examination out of 100 questions, there are 15 questions (that's 30 marks out of 200 marks) from polity section. In GS II mains paper out of 250 marks 200 marks consist of Indian Polity.
