Clubhouse is an invitation-only social media app for android and ios users , where every one can voice communicate with thousands of people by creating a single room. The audio only  hosting app gives oppurtunity so that every can participate in listening and speaking activity. It became a rival for other social media giants like Facebook, Twitter, Discord and Spotify .

The brain child of Rohan Seth and Paul Davidson, Clubhouse, can be helpful for people as it can help in Individual growth as well as company growth. With sudden popularity , celebrities around the world can't keep calm and couldn't hold themselves from using this app. 

Several rooms in this app are hosted by well known celebrities from law , marketing, business, art and film, sports, politics and many more. This helps everyone in expanding their network . One can easily present their ideas and thoughts without even showing their face. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared on this app  to connect with people directly to talk about virtual and augmented reality. 

Clubhouse said to be the best platform for introverts , who have various ideas and thoughts but do not want to come in public to express their views .

Apart from these various good things there are various cons of using this app.

1. TIME CONSUMING - like other social media apps , clubhouse too is very time consuming, it became addictive and everyone is spending hours and hours.People waiting long hours for their questions to be answered or waiting for their turn to speak. This then leads to several unproductive hours.
2. PRIVACY- The biggest concern of this app is privacy. This app like other social media apps too violet the privacy of users. It asks for access to contact permission while  signing into app. Several countries banned this app for privacy concerns . In Oman this app is banned due to not having proper license to operate. In UAE, it is impossible to access this app. EGYPT banned this app by citing that it promotes terrorism. Iran too banned this app. Even the “China” banned this app for promoting free speech. This app is also banned in the country JORDAN .

HATE SPEECH- This app also promotes various hate sppech against the Jews community, Hindu religion, sexist remarks . remember the clubhouse contorversy where several left wingers and fake feminist supporters where casually talking about raping the sanghi women promoting hate sex. Digvijay singh a famous leader with pakistani audience where talking about revoking art.370  again. promoting threat to sovereignty of INDIA. 

Like all other social media apps this too have pros and cons . the importing thing is that how you utilize this app for your own purpose. This decision is in our own hand so use it wisely.
