The movie starring Thalapathy Vijay , Trisha ,Sanjay Dutt , Arjun Sarja under Lokesh Kanakaraj direction  has been the 2nd highest collected in Day 1 box office worldwide of Indian movies of the year 2023.

This movie is thoroughly carried throughout by Vijay who portrayed the role of “Parthiban” and “Leo”. This is the 2nd time the Vijay- Lokesh combo re unites after giving a blockbuster movie “MASTER” in 2021 . This combo again proves to be the successful after re delivering the massive hit “LEO”.

From the first scene to the final shot of the movie . As a Indian movie buff , you get amazed by the visuals. kudos to the cinematographer Manoj .

Vijay's acting was in a flamboyant before role where his emotions have been extra ordinarily performed and captured . The chemistry between Trisha and Vijay has worked out really well.

The movie has heavy action blocks and crazy cameo of an animal “Hyena” . The graphics was top notch and does not look goofy

The 1st half of the movie was Vijay's career best and followed by decent second half with flashback scenes did not work well for certain audience and the climax fight choreo could have been better . these are the only flaw that the movie had.

Antagonists Sanjay Dutt and Arjun had very little time space in the movie and character of Arjun as “Harold Das” has no scope in the film.

Anirudh with his music has elevated the movie into next level from the title card to post climax scene.

The movie comes under the LCU(Lokesh Cinematic Universe) which has the connection with Lokesh's previous Kaithi and Vikram.

The core plot of the movie is inspired from the famous comic book “The history of violence” . 

The Synopsis :“Parthiban” the coffee shop owner who lives in Theog leads a peaceful life and everything changes in his life after murdering 5 gangsters to save his daughter and employee from the hazardous event and the picture and identity of Parthi exposes to the world and few people who knew his real identity “LEO”( who was a key man around a tobacco factory called Das and co) starts to catch  him.

The movie is the highest budget film of kollywood and we shall see the grandeur on screen via visuals .

Overall , this is one of the best Vijay film in the recent times .

The movie is now available in Netflix with more than 5 dubbes languages [English, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam].
