The next time you send an email to your family, plan a web excursion, or send a photo of your kids to your folks, you might need to appreciate innovation. Innovation, and its use, is a fundamental part of our daily existence. It is so indispensable, we cannot live in a world without it.

At one point when Sandra Johnson was young, she thought an expert was a person who drove a train. A few years after the fact, she changed into a person of color in America to pursue a Ph.D. Currently Chief Technology Officer and Senior Technical Staff Member of IBM's Systems and Technology Group in Electrical Designing, Dr. Johnson accepts that dark families must integrate innovation into their daily routines. "There are many reasons why blacks can't survive without innovation," says Dr. Johnson. Here are the top five:

1) Technology levels the playing field: From small and medium-sized organizations to visual, abstract and recording specialists, data-driven innovation brings the world to our fingertips. This provides an extraordinary advantage to individuals from the African American population who have traditionally faced barriers to achievement in these and other regions. Innovation smooths the odds, so dark voices can be heard, dark partnerships can be promoted, and innovation and growth can flourish.

2) Economic Empowerment: Technology gives blacks the power to do some unimaginable things on the image of a mouse. There's nothing they can't find more, take care of bills, plan excursions, buy fun things, entertain at low cost and on to find the best financial management. Can use line management.

3) Strengthens family ties: For some people who live in real intimacy with their immediate family members, innovation empowers them to communicate more consistently. They can trade photos, share recordings, send e-cards, send instant messages and call numbers from one location to another that were costly just a few years ago.

4) Careers in technology are great: A career in an innovation-related field can be very rewarding. It can also work on your personal satisfaction. Innovative talent is rare and hard to find, the work is stimulating and satisfying, and the monetary rewards are moderately high.

5) Great future for your children: Through innovation, the world is truly closer to home. Innovation improves education for black children. Just imagine what dark kids could do if they invested energy planning or further developing games for the Xbox 360 and PS2, or using their resources to create recordings, films, music and scholarly work. . The possible outcomes and open doors for innovation are endless.

As Dr. Johnson points out, various outreach projects, including Black Family Technology Awareness Week, provide access to and preparation for innovation. "If America is to maintain its upper hand," she says, "we must urge our children to join the up-and-coming generation of trailblazers, researchers, and experts, and our adults."
