Hey there, I'm Aditya Sharma.
I'm here to tell you a story about destiny. You know that most of us sometimes thinks that we have a bad destiny and some people have so good that they have everything by trying so less. So, here is a story I'm going to tell you that say why you should believe in hardwork not in destiny.
So, once upon a time there was two villages name gauripur and vijaynagar . The people who were living in respective village were so loving. There was a river which divides both the village. One was gauripur and other one was vijaynagar. The people who were living there shares water from that river. They shares water of that river and use for their need. Everything was going great but one day both the villagers started fighting for that river . The fight became so big that both the villagers gone to their king and complained about this dispute and requested to solve this issue as soon as possible.
The next day both the kings met and argued about that river. The king of gauripur named Surya Pratap said to bhishm rathore who was the king of vijaynagar that “okk….then we declare the war and the one who'll win going to take that river”. king bhishm agreed. There was a saint who always enlighten everyone with his knowledge. Both the villagers and kings respects hi a lot. The next day firstly king Surya Pratap met him and asked:
“will he win this war ?”
The saint replied: “ your destiny is with you” and smiled.King Surya Pratap was so happy after listening to this. After sometime king bhishm came to that and asked the same question:
“Will he win this war ?”
The saint replied:" your destiny is not with you" and smiled. King bhishm became sad after listening to this. On the other side king Surya was so relaxed because he was thinking he'll win this war because his destiny is with him. King bhishm was sad after knowing that his destiny is not with him and he'll lose. The advisor of king bhishm came to him and said" my lord, though our destiny is not with us and maybe we'll lose but at least we should fight. We'll fight hard win or lose is not in our hand." The advisor somehow motivated him to fight and after listening to him king bhishm started feeling positive. On the other hand king Surya was so relaxed that he didn't even made any plannings.
The next day war started the soldier of vijaynagar given tough fight to gauripur and after six hrs of fight finally king bhishm won the war. King Surya didn't believed that he lost. He immediately gone to the saint and asked “ how I lost the war my destiny was with me, you were wrong. ”
The saint smiled and said “ I never said you'll win the war I just said your destiny was with you”. “ You should work hard about your goals not just depend on destiny”.
So the moral of the story is that hard work , dedication can change your destiny.
