In fifth installment of Leveraging holy book Geeta, we're here to continue our previously unfinished topics of pain of death of a loved one. Previously we've understood that how krishna imparted the divine wisdom of geeta to arjun in the battlefield of kurukshetra. Arjun was completely in despair with the thought of a world with no kinsmen, with no one to love, with on one to live for.
Arjun: Madhav! What is if my own brothers, my guru, my grandfather or my own sons died in this bloodshed? They're the one who are standing here for the sake of dharma? What if they die here?
Krishna: O parth! As you said, they're here for sake of dharma. So whose responsibility is to protect them? It's of dharma itself.
Arjun: but it can't be possible that all being alive after war?
Krishna: It is possible parth! Look how it is.
Verse—22
Parth! As a person puts new clothes when it gets stains. Similarly, a soul changes body when it got stains too. These stains aren't of material dirt, but dirt on soul, spiritual dirt. Soul's dirt is a dirt which degrades you spiritually. Thus soul is willing to change body when it gets dirty and his spiritual nature gets degrade. Thus soul doesn't die, what actually dies is your dirt, dirt of your being. Soul leaves behind old body and accepts another body, thus the cycle continues.
Verse—25
O dhananjay! When I say nobody dies here in this battlefield, what I means is that nobody goes out of existence, nobody suffers, nobody will be adharmi after this war. Then only possibility for such circumstance is all being presented here, becomes immortal. Immortal, that's what they actually are. Soul is immortal, inconceivable, invisible, invariable and immovable. This dharm yudh is liable to clear the stains of the soul these great mens, thus you're the source of that cleaning, of that change. Eventually, you need to understanding that you're not slaying your kinsmen, you're just helping them to get clean again. Thus, you should not grieve, when you're helping them through it.
Verse—27
O arjun! You're not supposed to lament on god's inevitable duty. When someone took birth, his death is certain. If someone is died, his birth too is certain. Thus you're not the one who's bestowing them death. You're just a source to invoke the process. If today at this instant, you'll not kill them, I'm suppose to do that. And that too within seconds and with great pain. A warrior is suppose to die as a warrior.
